Pickleball Fever: Cebu’s Hottest Spots for your Next Match

There’s a new kind of fever getting around, and it’s not the kind you cure with rest. It’s the kind that gets you up, paddle in hand, and on the court before you know it. That’s right—pickleball fever has officially hit the city, and everybody seems to have caught the adrenaline and itch to play that comes with it. So if you’re feeling some of these symptoms yourself, here’s a prescription for the hottest spots where you can sweat it out in Cebu.

SM Seaside City Cebu

Before the pickleball craze took over, SM Seaside was already one of the first to open an outdoor pickleball court about a year ago. A laid-back, open-air setup free for all; the area has since become a go-to for both beginners just looking to get into the game and experienced players already caught up with it.

The best part? No court fees or any need for rigid bookings. All you have to do is bring your own paddle (or borrow one from a friend), wait your turn, and you’re good to go! A no-pressure place to play—you can experience it yourself at the Upper Ground Level, Tower Garden, Cube Wing at SM Seaside City Cebu.

Match Point

For those who prefer just a tiny bit more structured action, Match Point brings the hype indoors with its polished courts that keep the heat of competition going. But don’t be intimidated—though the space may have been designed for serious play, it welcomes anyone eager to get into the swing of things.

Hoops & Racket

If you’re looking for something a bit closer to the city, Hoops & Racket is a convenient pick for players who want a quick match without having to drive too far out. The atmosphere here strikes a nice middle ground that’s busy enough to keep things exciting, but still open for beginners finding their rhythm.
