Get Your Breakfast, Brunch, and Booze Fix at Bicester Cafe

Bicester Cafe is back and better than ever! Taking its name from a luxury shopping district full of cafes in the United Kingdom, Bicester Cafe has become a local favorite for its all-day brunch menu since its launch in 2017. With its best-sellers like tapa rice, great coffee, and a cozy atmosphere, the cafe quickly became a space where patrons could relax and unwind from the bustling and fast-paced buzz of Cebu City.

On June 29, 2024, Bicester Cafe opened its doors once again as it introduced a wider selection of food and drinks — reinventing itself to become more than just your favorite brunch spot.

The grand reopening marks the last phase of Engr. Jerome Awit and his daughter Atty. Rejzl Awit’s shared dream for Bicester Cafe. Aside from being a place that is perfect for brunch dates and coffee runs, Bicester Cafe also serves as a bar as it features a selection of beers, cocktails, wines, and whiskeys.

As early as 11 AM, customers can enjoy a glass of one of their refreshing cocktails, such as the Tequila Sunrise, Mango Mojito, and Blue Virgin Margarita, which are perfect for brunch, sunny afternoons, and late night outs with friends. For whiskey enthusiasts, Bicester Cafe features brands like Singleton and Macallan.

Of course, what’s a drink without the pulutan? The latest additions to Bicester Cafe’s menu are their pizzas and a delectable array of pica-pica (bar snacks) like peanuts with dilis, sisig, chicken bulaklak, and more. They perfectly balance the strong flavors of alcoholic drinks.

The cafe’s reopening was driven not only by Jerome Awit’s original vision for Bicester Cafe but also by the founders’ steadfast commitment to serving their customers. In their official press release, Bicester Cafe says, “Bicester Cafe understands the importance of catering to diverse needs. That’s why the recent renovation reflects customer feedback, creating a space that’s perfect for any occasion.”

Hence, the cafe becomes an amalgamation of spaces pieced together by the customers’ needs: you can start your morning with their breakfast meals, grab a cup of freshly brewed coffee while you work or study, have brunch with your family with Bicester’s wide selection of main courses, indulge in the different flavors of their gourmet cookies, catch up with friends over drinks and pulutan, and more!

If you’re indecisive about what and where to eat, go on and head over to Bicester Cafe! Whether it’s breakfast, brunch, or booze, Bicester Cafe has everything you need for every hour of the day.

Visit them at Mahogany Place, Pope John Paul II Avenue, Mabolo, Cebu City. Bicester Cafe is open Mondays to Thursdays from 7 AM to 10 PM; Fridays to Saturdays from 7 AM to 12 AM; and Sundays from 7 AM to 5 PM. Check out their Facebook or Instagram for more information.
