By the time the iPhone 18 Pro launch reached its midnight reveal at Digimap at Ayala Center Cebu, some people had already been waiting for more than a day.
The first in line arrived at 6 PM on October 14. Others joined as early as 6 AM on October 15. The reveal was set for midnight, so for plenty of people the wait ran longer than the event itself.
The occasion, “Say Hello to the iPhone 18 Pro,” was Digimap’s series of midnight launch celebrations held across the country on October 15 and 16. Digimap, an Apple Authorized Reseller that counts itself among the Philippines’ leading ones, framed the nights as a place where technology meets imagination and every hello brings something new to discover.
The Digimap iPhone 18 Pro launch was headlined by a flagship event at One Ayala, with simultaneous celebrations at Ayala Malls Vermosa and Ayala Center Cebu. The three brought together Apple enthusiasts, media friends, and special guests, with exclusive offers and freebies on the side.
The Cebu leg was hosted by Claire Codilla, with content creators and members of the media joining as the countdown to midnight built up.
Laine Vallar, Country Marketing Head for Digimap Philippines, says the launch is “an exciting moment for the Apple community.” She adds that Digimap wanted the milestone to be memorable for customers across the country, which is why it paired the simultaneous midnight events with launch deals and a personalized retail experience. The goal, she says, is to make it easier for Filipinos to experience the latest from Apple, and to make every upgrade more rewarding.
So what’s in the iPhone 18 Pro?
Every upgrade starts with the phone, so here’s what Apple lists for the iPhone 18 Pro. It runs on the A20 Pro chip and has a 48MP Pro Fusion camera system, with Pro controls for lens aperture, shutter speed, white balance, and a histogram view. It comes in Black, Silver, Glacier, and Burgundy. Inside are Apple’s own C2 cellular modem and N1 wireless networking chip, and Apple Intelligence powers Siri AI, a new version of Siri.
For anyone thinking of making the switch, Digimap’s DigiTrade program is where the launch deals come in. It offers trade-in savings of up to ₱82,900, plus trade-in top-ups of up to ₱11,000, and qualified customers can also pay in installments of up to 36 months. Terms and conditions apply.
The midnight launch is over, and the wait is too. The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max have been available nationwide through Digimap’s retail channels since October 16.
