Captivating Flavors, Cultivated from Korean Influence, Loved by Filipino Tastes

Tired of the usual cafes and restaurants around town? Given how small Cebu is, the usual favorites sure can feel repetitive after a while.

Well, a new contender has come in with some interesting food and drinks you can enjoy with friends. Eat& offers a fusion of Western cuisine with Korean influences. Annyeong, you read that right. Whether you’re looking for a brunch place, a lunch hangout, or some fancy dining experience, Eat& has it all waiting for you.

Something new, really new

Eat& is a fresh new restaurant that opened just last March 1, 2024, in One Montage Tower, Cebu. It offers a wide range of brunch, lunch, and dinner menus, including shareable plates, for a communal dining experience.

In just a few months, its have already wowed its customers with quite a unique display of offerings. “Our guests often love to order our Beef Cheeks, Fried Chicken, Grilled Octopus, Pork Belly, and Gochujang Carbonara,” says owner John Park.

Each dish you order is bound to give you a different experience and leave you coming back for more, while a few of them will have you dissecting the fusion of flavors, trying to figure out why they might taste familiar. It’s no secret, that both Western and now Korean cuisine and cultures have been imbedded into Filipinos for quite a while now.

Something for the coffee enthusiasts

Other than Eat&’s rich and diverse food selections, they also have something for coffee lovers, with an extensive coffee menu offered all day. If you love to kick-start your morning with coffee, savor it with friends in the afternoon, or unwind in the evening, there’s a perfect option for you every time.

Much like the food, there’s an undeniably interesting coffee menu that won’t disappoint (or that you might not have heard of before) like their Donut Coffee, Pistachio Latte, Citrus Latte, and even a Vegan Spanish Latte.

No need to worry if you’re trying to cut back on caffeine. Other than the usual sodas and water, Eat& has a non-coffee drink menu. There are some familiar Korean cafe favorites like matcha lattes and strawberry milk, but you’re guaranteed some fun with the Royal Milk Tea, Sparkling Strawberry, and Sparkling Lemonade.

Something for the wine lovers, too

For customers who enjoy wine pairings, the extensive natural wine selection won’t fail to captivate. These wines, free of additives, boast remarkable character.

Its diverse wine menu features selections from various countries, including Germany, France, Italy, Australia, and New Zealand. Fans of flavorful sparkling reds, bubbly Rosé, or sophisticated Pinot Noirs will find something fun to sip on.

Something definitely worth trying

Overall, Eat& brings a fresh approach to dining in Cebu City with its blend of Korean and Western cuisine. Its range of offerings, paired with its cozy and refreshing ambiance, makes it an ideal hang-out spot no matter what time of the day.

If you’re planning to visit, John Park recommends the Beef Cheeks, Pork Belly, and Grilled Octopus as his personal favorites. While our unique style may not be for everyone, we hope many will find it delightful and enjoy the experience,” John shares.
