The Tiramisu Talk of the Town: Where to Get Your Fix in Cebu

I first tried tiramisu years ago in one of my Bake Art classes. Back then, finding ingredients like ladyfingers and mascarpone wasn’t nearly as easy as it is today, which made each slice feel all the more special. These days, you can see tiramisu trending everywhere from TikTok to cafés in cakes, ice cream, and even lattes.

In a city where the food scene is thriving, it can be overwhelming to decide where to start. To help you out, here’s a list of must-try spots for this iconic dessert.

Skinny Baker

If you’ve seen those reels of tiramisu slabs being sliced straight from sheet pans, you’ll want to try Skinny Baker’s version. With ladyfingers baked from scratch and cream cheese instead of mascarpone, Skinny Baker gives tiramisu a personal touch that ties it perfectly to Cebu’s café scene.

In addition to the classic tiramisu, they also serve Biscoff-misu and Matchamisu. Classic Tiramisu is Php200 for a slice, while Biscoff-misu and Matchamisu are Php220 per slice. Whole cakes are also available.

Visit Skinny Baker at One Tree Plaza Hotel Commercial Center in Banawa or order through GrabFood. Their café is open from 11 AM until 8 PM on Monday and Tuesday, and from 10 AM to 11 PM on Wednesday to Sunday.

Napolitani Pizzeria

You might head to Napolitani for their Neapolitan pizza, but trust me, you’ll want to save room for the tiramisu, which deserves just as much attention.

Though served as a single slice, it’s surprisingly hearty, thanks to layers of fluffy ladyfinger sponge that soak up the coffee syrup for a rich, full-bodied bite. The twist? Luscious amaretto mascarpone cream that you’ll want to lick right off the spoon. A delicate hint of citrus cuts through the richness, creating a brightness to the tiramisu.  Priced at Php250, it’s the kind of indulgence that’ll make you want to order two.

Drop by Napolitani Pizzeria on the Ground Floor of Molave Suites. Hours run from 11:30 AM to 10 PM every day. You can also order through GrabFood or Foodpanda.

La Buona Italian Restaurant

La Buona is an OG Italian spot in the city and gives out an if you know, you know vibe. Its interiors are reminiscent of a rustic home—cozy and lived-in. Pair that with their tiramisu, and you’ve got an experience that resembles tradition with every bite.

Just like at home, meals at La Buona are best shared with your loved ones, and dessert is no exception. Their tiramisu comes as a generous slice and is served with a scoop of coffee ice cream. This deepens the espresso notes and adds a cool contrast to the depth of flavor. Fair warning though: it’s so good, you’ll be tempted to keep it all to yourself. It’s definitely a bang for your buck at Php300.

Enjoy La Buona’s classic Italian flavors at Advent Business Center, Acacia Street. They’re open daily from 11 AM to 2 PM and 6 PM to 9 PM.

La Gondola

The word tiramisu, derived from the Treviso phrase tireme su, literally means “pick me up”, a nod to its espresso base. At La Gondola, their tiramisu does exactly that. Served in a cup, their version mirrors the way coffee is often enjoyed. It’s like having your caffeine fix and dessert in one creamy bite.

One cup is all it takes to lift your mood. At Php305, La Gondola’s tiramisu is the sweetest kind of pick-me-up that hits better than your usual latte.

La Gondola is on the Ground Floor of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino. They welcome guests from 11 AM until 10:30 PM every day.

Trattoria da Gianni

Trattoria da Gianni, born from family and tradition, is rooted in family recipes and lives by a simple but powerful philosophy of doing everything with love. That spirit shows in every dish, especially the tiramisu.

True to their philosophy, Trattoria da Gianni’s tiramisu becomes more than just dessert. It becomes an experience as it’s prepared at your table. Watching it come together in front of you feels personal, almost like Nonna herself is making it just for you—like being let in on a family tradition before you even take a bite. Their Tiramisu Espresso is Php550 for sharing, and it’s a sweet reminder that some experiences are worth enjoying together.

Head to The Crossroads on Gov. M. Cuenco Ave, and discover why Trattoria da Gianni’s tiramisu is a local favorite. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM for lunch, and from 5:30 PM to 10 PM for dinner.
