Cute shoes are great, but cute shoes you can actually walk in? Even better. VIVAIA is bringing its signature blend of sustainable materials, everyday comfort, and contemporary style to Cebu.
VIVAIA Cebu is the brand’s first store outside Metro Manila, and the launch reflects its #MoveWithVIVAIA ideology. The vibrant invitation “Cebu! Adto na ta!” captures the spirit of walking alongside the local community. Now, Cebuanas can find their next everyday favorite a little closer to home at the new store in Ayala Center Cebu.
VIVAIA is a global footwear brand that believes your shoes should look good without leaving your feet begging for a break. Its shoes feature cushioned insoles for added comfort, making them an option for those who want their everyday pairs to do more than just complete an outfit.

That balance between fashion and function is central to the vision of Global Creative Director Alan Buanne, whose background spans luxury footwear and podiatry. Inspired in part by his working mother, Buanne draws on an appreciation for the demands women navigate between their professional and personal lives.
In an interview published on VIVAIA’s official journal, he summed up the challenge of shoe design with a question: “What is the maximum amount of room we can give the foot while still making the shoe beautiful?”

It’s a fitting question for a brand built around the idea that comfort and good design can go hand in hand. Because, no, women shouldn’t have to choose between looking good and feeling comfortable.
That same philosophy comes to life in VIVAIA’s re:work collection. Moving beyond the usual office heels and flats, the collection features everything from kitten heels, loafers, and mules, designed to transition from the start of your day to meetings and after-hours. VIVAIA’s re:work line makes a case for shoes that work just as hard as you do.

Driven by a more conscious approach to footwear production, VIVAIA uses a signature 3D-knitting process to turn recycled plastic bottles into durable and breathable yarn through REPREVE® technology.
The brand’s knit-to-shape production methods are intended to reduce material waste. It gives discarded materials a second life, creating breathable, lightweight textiles.
The mark that VIVAIA is making in the global fashion scene is undeniable. The Margot Mary-Janes gained considerable attention after BLACKPINK’s Jennie wore the ruby red pair, while Bella Hadid has been spotted in the brand’s ballet sneakers. Other names associated with VIVAIA include Alexa Chung and Jenna Ortega.

Inside the new store, shoppers can find some of VIVAIA’s most popular styles, including the pointed-toe Aria Flats and the square-toe Margot Mary-Jane. Other crowd-favorites include VIVAIA’s weather-ready boots, ballet sneakers, and embroidered loafers.
The new space pays tribute to its new home through collaborations with local Cebuano artists and designers, bringing cultural touches to the store. It’s an inviting setting where shoppers can find a pair suited to their own routines.
