Why Molave Community Marketplace Should Be In Your Next Weekend Plan

Get in, loser. We’re going to Molave!

Picture this: A community marketplace for both practical and creative ideas on a narrow street where people can chat, wear stylish clothes, groove to live music, and eat good food. Sounds good, doesn’t it?

Lucky you, this place actually exists. The Molave Community Marketplace (MCM) is filled with all things creative on Fridays and Saturdays. It is located on Molave Street, just around the Ayala Malls Center Cebu.

If you’re curious about what’s in store before you pencil this into your weekend schedule, here are reasons why this community marketplace is worth visiting.

Creativity in Selling is Welcome

What makes Molave Community Marketplace different from any other is how it offers a plethora of product choices. Everything you can think of is there: a family recipe, crocheted items, preloved and vintage clothing, vinyl records, street food, body art, and more.

In our recent visit, we had the chance to ask the vendors about their favorite part about selling in the community, and an answer that reverberated through was how MCM is inclusive of their creativity in business. They appreciate how it makes their craft known to others.

An Avenue for Your Bold Wardrobe Ideas

Ever had that dilemma about where you could wear those chic boots, long skirts, or shirts with crazy prints and patterns? You can bet that MCM will love your wild wardrobe ideas.

When we say that people on Molave Street look like they stepped straight out of a Pinterest board, we’re not exaggerating. It comes naturally since the community encourages creativity—even in clothing choices.

So this weekend, make sure to wear that bold wardrobe piece you’ve been dying to wear.

The People

The people are one of the reasons why you may want to visit Molave and come back immediately next weekend.

It’s inevitable to make new friends when you visit Molave. We’re talking about a community of artists, musicians, thrifters, and talented people who come up to you at random and go on about how good you look in your outfit. And if you’re there selling your craft, they will undoubtedly support you.

We kid you not; you’ll be surprised at how welcoming the people that MCM has rounded together are, and it will leave such an imprint that you’ll find yourself complimenting strangers as well.

Perfect for friendly or romantic dates

With everything mentioned above, doesn’t it sound like the perfect spot for your next weekend date with friends or your significant other?

You won’t have to go anywhere else because everything you could possibly want is in MCM. You can indulge in tasty bites from various food stalls, shop for outfits that will match each other, dance to live music, and give each other thoughtful little gifts—all in one place!

Now, what are you waiting for? Make sure to add this to your weekend agenda. Whether you visit the Molave Marketplace Community alone or with the people you value, it’s the perfect place to rest from the weekday’s hustle and get your creative juices flowing. We hope to see you there!
